Quick answer

Use the label or code generated for the order, check the specific deadline, pack according to the item, keep the proof of drop-off and look at the final cost at checkout. If loss, damage or a problematic delivery occurs, move to the claim flow.

Guide contents
A

Quick flow of an integrated shipment

The order’s label or code links the purchase to the carrier and the tracking.

1Purchase

The buyer selects and pays for the available shipping.

2Label/code

Vinted sends the seller the instructions.

3Pack

Protect the item and keep useful evidence.

4Drop off

Use the point/option indicated for that label.

5Tracking

Check the status within the order.

Important: the current help states that the prepaid label generated on Vinted must be used for that order. A different label or the wrong option can cause automatic cancellation.
B

Deadline for using the label

The current T&Cs document 5 working days in the standard prepaid shipping flow, unless otherwise communicated or agreed.

Day of purchase

The applicable shipping flow is generated.

Up to 5 working days

Documented standard deadline for using the prepaid label, unless otherwise communicated/agreed.

Afterwards

The transaction may be cancelled if the label is not used within the applicable deadline.

C

Carriers in Spain: a dynamic list

The current public help lists several carriers, but actual availability depends on area, route, size, settings and changes made by Vinted.

On 25/08/2026 the list shows InPost, Correos (Oficina/Domicilio/Citypaq — post office/home/parcel locker), SEUR, Ontime, GLS, Vinted Go and DHL Express. Vinted warns that it may add, suspend or remove carriers at any time.

Do not choose from memory

The option that matters is the one available in the specific checkout/order.

Routes and areas

Not all carriers are available for every postcode or destination.

Verification

Eligible items may require integrated shipping and a stop at a verification centre.

Sort out the parcel, the evidence and the real cost

Barguvo can help you review the flow without generating or modifying labels.

D

Shipping cost and Buyer Protection

The final cost depends on the parcel, route, carrier and any discounts; Buyer Protection is a separate fee.

Vinted states that the cost of prepaid shipping varies according to parcel size, route, carrier and discounts, and that the final price is shown before you pay. The Buyer Protection fee also varies; the help currently says it generally includes 5 % + 0,70 €, but that formula should not be treated as permanent.

Packing and evidence before drop-off

Packing well reduces damage; documenting the essentials helps if an issue arises later.

✓Use packaging suited to the item’s weight, fragility and shape.
✓Photograph the condition and accessories before sealing the parcel when reasonable.
✓Do not cover or damage codes needed for transport.
✓Keep the proof of drop-off/handover to the carrier.
✓Avoid including personal data or items unrelated to the order.

Tracking, loss or damage: switch guides when there is an issue

The shipping flow explains the normal operation; when loss, damage or “delivered/not received” appears, the job moves to returns/refunds.

Tracking within Vinted is based on information provided by the carrier. If the status is contradictory, keep relevant screenshots or receipts and use the order. Do not turn odd tracking into proof of fraud on its own.

The label and tracking live in the original order

Shipping cases worth resolving before dropping off the parcel

Most issues are easier to understand if you separate label, physical parcel, tracking and evidence.

The label says one thing and the parcel weighs or measures another

Do not improvise with a different service without checking the order instructions. Size and shipping option can affect whether the carrier accepts the parcel and the coverage of the flow. If the item does not fit the intended packaging, check Vinted’s options before dropping it off; do not assume that a label from another service will be equivalent.

You have sold a bundle

Check that the parcel contains exactly the items in the bundle and that the packaging can bear the combined weight. A photo of the contents beforehand can help reconstruct what was sent if an issue arises, but it does not need to become an invasive recording. The aim is to document condition, quantity and reasonable protection.

Fragile item or one with moving parts

The packaging should prevent unnecessary movement and protect sensitive points. Separating parts when it is safe to do so, using filler material and avoiding direct pressure on fragile elements is usually more important than a “nice” box. This guide does not replace the carrier’s instructions for restricted goods or special categories.

Tracking that does not update

A temporary absence of events does not prove loss. Keep the proof of drop-off and look at the order information. If Vinted notifies you that it appears to be lost or there is an issue, switch to the claim flow within the deadline. Do not open multiple contradictory external claims if the platform is already handling the case.

The buyer asks by message to change the address

Do not manually alter a prepaid label or ship to an address other than the one linked to the order without an official flow that allows it. A request may be innocent, but the parcel and the tracking need to follow the real transaction.

Item eligible for verification

When the order has to go through a verification centre, the route is not the normal direct delivery. Follow the generated label and do not try to “save time” by sending it to the buyer. The current help states that integrated shipping is the only option for certain items eligible for the verification service.

1Identify the exact label for the order.
2Check contents, condition and accessories.
3Pack for the item’s real physical risk.
4Drop off through the indicated channel and keep the receipt.
5If an issue arises, use the order and its deadlines.

Packing evidence helps explain a case, but it does not automatically guarantee compensation. Nor does a photo of the parcel prove on its own what happened during transport. The outcome depends on Vinted’s flow, the carrier’s information and the circumstances of the order.

H

Total cost: do not confuse shipping, protection and item price

For buyer and seller, the relevant figure depends on the stage of the transaction.

The seller sets the item price; the buyer also sees Buyer Protection and shipping. If you compare two listings, looking at the big item number is not enough if the logistics options differ. At the same time, you should not present the protection or transport cost as the seller’s margin: they are different things.

The currently published Buyer Protection formula is variable and is only described as “generally” a percentage plus a fixed amount. That is why checkout is the operational source for the specific order. The same applies to shipping: parcel, route, carrier and discounts can change the amount.

Barguvo can structure the observed total cost, but it should not freeze fees or promise that a carrier will be available to all users. Any editorial table of carriers needs a date and availability wording.

I

Physical preparation of the parcel: a checklist in proportion to the item

Not every product needs the same packaging, but they all need a clear relationship between contents, protection and label.

Soft clothing may need protection against damp and accidental opening; footwear may need room so it does not get deformed; electronics require avoiding knocks and movement; objects with glass or rigid parts need separation and cushioning. This guide does not replace the carrier’s rules on prohibited or restricted goods.

Before sealing, compare the contents with the listing: size, quantity, accessories and any document included. A quick photo of the contents can be useful, but there is no need to record an endless video. Then place the label legibly and avoid reusing boxes with old visible codes that could cause confusion.

After dropping off the parcel, keep the receipt at least until the transaction is over. If the tracking takes a while to update, the receipt helps prove that you handed the parcel to the indicated channel. If a material contradiction arises, use the order so the issue is linked to the correct transaction.

If the carrier or Vinted changes the instructions for a specific route, those instructions prevail over this general guide. That is precisely why Barguvo treats carriers, amounts and deadlines as dynamic data.

J

What you should revalidate for each order

carrier, cost, size, route and deadlines can change; the specific order prevails over any editorial table.

Before preparing a shipment, open the order and check which option has actually been generated. A list published by Vinted may say which carriers exist in Spain, but that does not mean they all appear for every postcode, parcel size, destination or category. The guide helps you understand the system; the order’s label or code determines the specific operation.

Make the same distinction with cost. The shipping price you saw in another transaction is not a universal rate card: it can change by size, route, carrier or promotion. Buyer Protection is also a separate item. To analyse total cost, Barguvo must keep item price, shipping and protection fee separate, and use the breakdown shown before payment as the current operational reference.

Packing should not become a one-size-fits-all template either. A jumper mainly needs protection against damp and opening; trainers should not get deformed; a rigid or fragile object needs to be kept from moving and being knocked. Documenting condition and contents can help if there is an issue, but it does not automatically turn a photo or video into definitive proof. It should be proportionate evidence, not a false guarantee.

If the tracking stops, changes status several times or shows “delivered” without the recipient having the parcel, do not infer fraud from the tracking alone. Keep the receipt and the information visible in the order, and use the issue mechanism within the applicable deadline. At that point the question stops being “how do I ship” and becomes “how do I claim”, which is why Barguvo keeps the two guides separate.

This per-order revalidation is also an editorial maintenance rule. Carriers, prices and conditions that are liable to change carry a date and are not embedded as product constants. If Vinted changes an option, Barguvo must be able to update the data without rewriting the whole shipping methodology.

FAQ

How many days do I have to ship?

The current T&Cs document 5 working days to use the prepaid label in the standard flow, unless otherwise communicated or agreed. Check the specific order.

The cost is shown in the purchase process and depends on the available option. Do not use a fixed table outside checkout.

Which carriers does Vinted use in Spain?

As of 25/08/2026 the help lists InPost, Correos, SEUR, Ontime, GLS, Vinted Go and DHL Express. Availability may change.

Can I change carrier after paying?

What happens if I use a different label?

The current help warns that using a different label or the wrong option can automatically cancel the order.

What do I do if it shows as delivered and I have not received it?

Use the order and the “Tengo un problema” (I have a problem) flow within the applicable deadline; keep the tracking and relevant evidence.
